Morgan “Mike” Mosser has more than 45 years of professional experience in private industry, mining, government, and academia. His expertise includes planning, budgeting, designing, constructing, and operating complex underground and surface coal operations, including facilities that separate mineral impurities from the salable coal product.

He was the Federal Project Manager for a wide variety of industry and environmental initiatives. In addition to mining operations and technology development, he has expertise in Rare Earth mineral extraction and carbon capture. He has a rare combination of experience in working mines and high-level strategic planning. He has published in technical journals throughout his career and is widely sought out as an expert in the field. He has operated Mosser Resource Consulting LLC since 2016.

Mr. Mosser earned an MBA from Waynesburg University and a BS in Mining Engineering from West Virginia University, where he was a four-time All American in track, a four-time NCAA qualifier in cross country, and the school record holder in a host of events.

He is the father of two adult children and lives on Cheat Lake in Morgantown, West Virginia with his wife, Nancy.
